Causes
In most malignant tumors of the skeleton not know the cause that produced it. But today we know that cancer is a genetic disease, not because it is transferred from parents to children (although in some cases this happens) but because its origin is some alteration of genes that control cell division. In some sarcomas is known that specific genetic alteration has occurred. Genetic studies, some studies have shown that sarcomas may be diagnosed with certainty within 24 hours, and besides, do you know if this particular sarcoma is more or less likely to respond to treatment.
Symptoms
the most common symptom is pain in a limb. This pain is constant, even at night. The most common location is the knee of a growing child, but can also involve the bones of the trunk, pelvis, etc..
