For maximum efficacy, the tablets should be taken as soon as possible after intercourse. The effectiveness decreases the more days pass, but is effective until five days after unprotected intercourse. Generally has 70 to 89% effective in preventing pregnancy.

How safe is it?
No serious complications have been observed to take this treatment. Minor side effects may occur: nausea, which is rare and generally mild, or changes in the menstrual period. If vomiting occurs within three hours of taking the pill, take another pill as soon as possible.

Important considerations:
1. Emergency contraception does not protect against sexually transmitted infections, so it is recommended to use a condom.
2. Not recommended as a regular contraceptive method (because it is less effective).
3. You must start to use effective contraception.
4. Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant.
5. It should call if you have any abdominal pain or vaginal bleeding.

Reasons that might fail emergency contraception:
* Take the tablet 72 hours after intercourse
* Vomits within three hours after taking the pill and not repeated dosing
* Having unprotected intercourse after taking the pill for emergency contraception.
