Although not in all cases, many obese individuals may well see themselves in the mirror and do not perceive their size or health problem, ie, have a distorted body image. This is an obstacle when you are fighting to reverse obesity and of course, is the cause of denial.
Many people who surround obese individuals do not think it is possible that they do not see your health problem and therefore not care, but when it comes to a distorted body image, everything looks good when in fact it is or backwards.
Therefore, obesity itself, the same disease leads to some obese people do not understand your problem, not to see or feel its size, which requires more work when trying to control the disease and begin treatment.
